“The minute we start vilifying writers for taking risks, we become complicit in an effort to make television boring. I am not interested in the dive where the guy just jumps off the board and flawlessly splishes into the water. I want to watch the one where there is a high probability he will belly flop so devastatingly that even the traditionally emotionless German judge cringes in empathy. And friends, I have had my fair share of belly flops. See? I told you we’d get to LOST.”

Damon Lindelof, defending ‘The Killing’ season one finale (via THR)

lbr, the problem i had with the killing was not the finale… idc if you take the next couple eps of s2 to finish the ~who killed rosie larsen plot, the real problem is everything else about that show

LOL at The Killing getting quite a few Emmy nods and one for writing (granted it was the pilot which I didn’t hate). This will just make the showrunner’s head grow larger and she’s already so unaware of how much her show is not good.

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS! nobody understands my sad existence

Apparently we reach a certain point of the evening where I develop a Joel Kinnaman-type situation for absolutely no reason at all.

And this show and its fucking writing, I don’t even

I am currently at that point as well. Also, yes on the writing on this show. UGH.
